赵乐际说，本次会议审议9件法律草案和1件决定草案，通过其中3件，听取审议国务院2个报告，决定批准我国同外国缔结的4件条约，通过代表资格审查报告和有关任免案，圆满完成各项预定任务。
赵乐际指出，会议审议通过的学位法贯彻党和国家教育方针，进一步完善学位管理体制，有利于促进高等教育改革发展。审议通过的关税法落实税收法定原则，对于促进对外贸易、推进高水平对外开放具有重要意义。会议作出决定，对农业技术推广法等3部法律有关条款进行统筹修改，推动落实党中央关于党和国家机构改革的决策部署，确保行政机关依法履行职责。有关方面要做好上述法律和决定的学习宣传、实施准备工作，抓紧制定出台配套规定和保障措施，确保全面有效实施。
赵乐际指出，根据十四届全国人大二次会议精神，全国人大常委会2024年度工作要点和立法、监督、代表工作计划作了调整完善，经委员长会议审议通过并正式印发执行。我们要认真落实常委会工作要点和计划，依法履职尽责，全力以赴完成全年目标任务，更好服务党和国家事业全局。
